Do customers need an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and tip directly in the browser. Zero friction.
Is it secure?
All payments are handled by Stitch (PCI-DSS compliant) with 3D Secure authentication. Slip a Tip never sees or stores card details. Liability shifts to the card issuer.
How do withdrawals work?
Request a withdrawal from your dashboard. Choose EFT to your bank (R2 flat fee, via Stitch Payouts) or an OTT Voucher redeemable at any OTT outlet (6% fee, PIN delivered via WhatsApp). Minimum withdrawal is R20.
What does it cost?
Signing up is completely free. A small total fee (up to 10%) is deducted from tips to cover Stitch payment processing and the Slip a Tip platform.
Who can use Slip a Tip?
Any worker in the service industry — waiters, baristas, porters, car guards, delivery riders, and more.
How fast do tips arrive?
